Morton Cottage (sleeps 2)

A slow combustion wood-burning stove and claw-footed bath with a tranquil tree-top outlook are just two of the gorgeous features in Morton Cottage. In traditional weatherboard style, Morton Cottage is located close to the Homestead and boasts its own private street entrance and garden position.

Comfort and modern rustic style are key, from the quality of the furnishings and linens, to the French doors opening out to an intimate verandah and cathedral ceilings framed by exposed beams.

A spacious queen-sized mezzanine bedroom under the eaves overlooks the generously proportioned living areas, fully equipped with a sumptuous lounge setting and dining table with seating for four.

Throw open the French doors for a barbeque on the deck, or pull together a sumptuous mezze plate of Highlands fare from your day’s exploring and enjoy with a good local drop.

Relax outside reading a book, listening to the bird calls from the gardens and nearby Morton National Park, or curl up on the couches inside playing board games next to your slow-burning fire, or soak for hours in the full-length, deep claw-footed tub.

Whilst a cot is available on request, Morton Cottage is not really suitable for mobile younger children, due to the open staircase.

Dogs welcome by prior arrangement.
